Mr. VARUN KAPOOR was born on 14th May 1967 at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He was born to Indian Administrative Service officer Shri Rajinder Paul Kapoor and Smt Kusum Kapoor. He was the youngest of three children and has two elder sisters namely, Ambika and Vandana. His father and mother originally hailed from the Punjab province in the erstwhile British India. After partition in 1947 his fathers’ family from Gujranwala and his mothers’ family from Lahore relocated to India.
